The people here are super helpful. I definitely recommend chatting with them before setting off on your first hike. They'll help you strategize and tell you where to park. You can also pick up the pass for your car while you're here as well as souvenirs if you want.
Wow. I called and ran my plan to camp in a not quite so popular area by the rangers. The first and only operator I talked to had extensive knowledge on hand. It was like when Neo talks to an operator in the matrix. I'm impressed!
